South Africa has just elected the 4th President after the fall of apartheid and the day before the Inauguration of President Jacob Zuma for his second term the Air Force did a rehearsal of the fly past of all planes for the celebrations. The new 9m statue of former President Nelson Mandela at the foot of the Union Buildings just gave me the idea of shooting silhouette images with the sun at a very awkward place and all proceedings were to start around 11:15.
